The film is all about Ah Kun, a poor boy who lost his younger sister Seow Fang's shoes. Not wanting to aggravate their family's financial problems, brother and sister decide to take the problem into their own small hands. Moments throughout the film will make you laugh, cry, or hold your breath. And, the children (especially Beng Soon) are so cute! ;)
I admire the genuine love between brother and sister, and the unfailing loyalty of Ah Kun's friends. To say that the movie touched me would be an understatement -- it made me cry.
And I must say, the ending's REALLY good.
This movie is hard to forget.
