A thousand deaths empower me...

Friday, July 1

That's life, everyday.

Whee! I've waited for so long to have these "random thoughts" once again! Felt like years, heh.

First off: school.

It makes me sick. Literally. Only a few weeks into the semester and I'm all tired and stressed out. Seems like all the subjects I'm taking are uber-demanding and hazardous to a poor student's health and sanity.

1. Philosophy - Rosario is _totally_ obsessed with GMA! It's not such a bad thing, actually. Sometimes the whole class just roars with laughter at his unbelievable comments about the already-controversial president. Just yesterday, his phone rang in the middle of his lecture and he exclaimed, "Si GMA talaga! Tawag ng tawag..." Hindi pa nakuntento dyan, when he answered the call, he went on, "Hello, GMA. I have a class right now. I'm in front of many people. Tawagan mo na lang muna si Garci. Bye." o_0 Anyway, I'm seated at the back (which is normally the case if ZuperZip is not my classmate, hehe) My seatmates are Ge and Izza (from Th131). Nagkalat ako sa recitation, and I got a B- on a surprise quiz, with my prof's comment "pwede na!". Dikya! :P

2. Theology - We spent FIVE meetings discussing the TWELVE-page syllabus. Amazing. :O We have lots of groupwork, and we have weekly study group meetings. At eto pa pala. We always "join hands" in the opening prayer. Anyway, my groupmates are Rozie (Comm), Mika (PolSci), Neil (Psych), and Franz (MIS). We'll have our immersion at Calatagan, Batangas (fisherfolk) by the end of July. More amazing things about Theo: We have THREE books. We'll do translation work. Use Filipino and you get an automatic +5 in the midterms and orals.

3. History - Totanes is one entertaining lecturer. :P Contemporary Philippine history is acutally interesting... EXCEPT for the film showing. Na-dead talaga ako. To think, never pa kong natulog or nag-attempt man lang matulog sa mga film showing ngayong college. (Highschool pwede pa, hehe.)

5. .NET - Ayokong ulitin na naman ang saddening stories sa subject na ito. Hay. I'm sure everyone's heard of Sacksteder already.

6. J2EE - No matter how fun Java is (compared to "yucky" C, haha)... bano pa rin ako. I have managed to delay my report on the controversial Singleton pattern for quite a while.

7. Doc Mana - Umm, what's the title of the course? >:) How can anyone ever describe a Doc Mana class?

8. CS112 - Fine, I guess. Sana matuto ako ng matinong C.

9. CS21A - Mind-boggling. o_0 When will I have the time to check their projects??

10. CompSAt - Reach Out!

Next: OJT.

Last Friday, I was "kidnapped" by Sir Erskine, Sir Jerome, and Maam George as I was walking along the streets of Makati on my way to Sunvar Plaza. I was calmly walking past our building when *POOF* andyan sila. (Way past the end of their breaktime, tsk tsk.) I had no plans of going back to Fujitsu that day, because I just got my practicum grade that afternoon and was not happy with it. Haha! Anyway, they did "kidnap" me so I went up to the sixth floor. Paglabas pa lang ng elevator, ang ingay na agad ni Sir Lanz/Pekto. And surprisingly, almost everybody was dressed up and out at the corridor. May pupuntahan yata silang interview or test or whatever. End of contract na kasi, and most of them were leaving for other projects, or companies. Ayun. Chika-chika, lalo na si Sir Lanz na maraming intriga sa buhay. It was actually nice seeing all of them again, specially you-know-who! We chitchatted for only a short time, because they all had to leave for wherever they'll be going. So I went in and chika-ed with "Tito" Mike, "Lolo" Loyce, "Tito" Erskine, "Tito" Clint, "Tito" Matt and "Kababatang" Emman. Hehe, ang weird kasi na parang dinadalaw ko sila tapos kunwari nagmamano pako kina Sir Mike at Sir Loyce. They asked me about Kuky (na maraming interesanteng binabalita sakin, ahem), school, etc. Kung naghahanap na daw ako ng trabaho. Hello! Next year pa nga ako gagraduate e! Sasabitan daw nila ako ng medalya, one each. :P You-know-who talked to me for a while. Yeeeeheeee..! Kung basketball player daw ako. Kung may dala daw akong sweets, haha. Nagkasakit pa daw siya after nung last day ko kasi antamis daw nung pinakain ko sa kanila e may sore throat na daw siya nun. Hmph, maarte. :P After a while, umalis na din ako kasi nga punta pa ko sa clinic to buy meds. On the way out, nakasalubong ko ulit si Maam Irene and Sir George. Much, much later I find myself in Market! Market! looking very much like a basang sisiw.

*sleepy*

Next time na lang ulit. Kay dami ko pang gustong ikwento.
