Pink

I was so tired and sleepy last night when I got home. (Nobody opened the door for me! I had to walk to the back of the house, outside our room, then open our window and calling out to Patty to wake her up!) I still managed to check my mail though, and do some CompSAt stuff before falling dead on my bed.

It was a Power Rangers' night out-- to celebrate Ken's birthday. :D We crammed like hell in getting a gift for him, with Zi and Phi arguing all the time. In the end, I guess it turned out well because Ken said the shirt was "ang nice, nice." Hehe. Zippy was sooooooo maingay and magulo all throughout the night. Agree ako kay Phi, namiss lang niya kami. :P Proud na proud kasi sa "Student Ambassador" calling card niya. Sabi nga ni Kim, malandi! :)) Yan tuloy, kinukulit ka ni...

Anyway, We met Loang before that, and it seems like I bump into him every other day... always with the question, "O, bakit nandito ka?" Just this morning, I met him _again_ here in school! Turns out he also decided to claim his ID today. Oh well, siguro masasanay din akong mapagalitan ni Boss Loang saan man ako pumunta. :P

I had a COMPLETELY idle day at work yesterday. This is a first, though for the two days before that I just had to make one stored procedure for one whole 8-hour day. I got tired of the online SQL tutorials (which were actually fun for the first few hours) and just spent most of the time idling around with my OJT-mates and working on all the trivia/brain/whatnot games and quizzes we could find. I was so bored I finally had the willingness to take on the "Einsteinian problem" of the 5 men in 5 houses, and worked out the answer with Kuya Ardie. The German owns the fish!

There was this Excel quiz with lyrics of different songs, and we had to guess the title of the song and the corresponding artists. Grabe, nakakasira ng ulo! I hum, sing, look at the ceiling and tap my fingers just trying to get the tune right and maybe figure out the song title in the process. I guessed most of the "new" songs, but I always got stuck with the older ones. I just end up humming in my desk like an idiot, and finding myself totally clueless on the title of the song! But sometimes I get help from Sir Mike (he thinks Miss George is prettyyyy...yeeehee.) when he works on the servers on either side of my desk.

Another quiz "Eye Spy' showed pictures of foreign celebrities, cropped to show only their eyes, and we had to guess who they were. Some of them really looked Pinoy to me, I even thought one looked like Nora Aunor! Hahaha! Kuya Ardie couldn't stop laughing at that.

I hope we won't be as bored next week...

Yes, I'm in school right now. Free internet, nyahaha. Sa bagay, isa 'to sa mga dahilan kung bakit malaki pa rin ang tuition namin ngayong summer kahit kami na nga yung nagpapakahirap sa trabaho. Eh... okay lang, di naman ako ang nagbayad eh. :P

I'll go to the library later on, hopefully to borrow some books for "self-study". Plus maybe a novel. :)) In fairness! May flat screens na yung mga computer sa lib dun sa may CD-ROM materials yata. wala lang. At ang mga PCs dito sa RSF naka-XP na. Wala lang din.
